Using these services, the customers can avail a variety of financial and non-financial services. The information shared through these services can be categorized under 2 categories, “Pull information” and “Push Alerts” Pull information is provided by the bank to the registered mobile number of the customer in response to customer requests using SMS, Missed call or USSD. Push alerts are information/alerts related to account, account credit, account balance etc. that are provided automatically by the bank to the registered mobile number of the customer without any customer request. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What are the services available under SMS, Missed Call and USSD banking?"] Dear customer, there are various financial and non-financial services that that can be availed using SMS, Missed call and USSD banking. Provided below is the detailed list of services. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What kind of mobile handset is required for availing these services?"] Dear Customer, any mobile handset capable of text messaging functionality will suffice the requirement of SMS, Missed call and USSD banking. Do I require internet connection for availing the services under SMS, Missed call and IUSSD banking? Dear Customer, Internet connection (GPRS) is not required for availing the services under SMS, Missed call and USSD banking. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What is the precondition for availing these services?"] Dear Customer, The customer account should be mapped with a registered mobile number to avail of the services under SMS, Missed call and USSD banking. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="Which agency governs USSD banking in India?"] Dear Customer, the USSD banking service is managed by National Unified USSD Platform (NUUP). It is a mobile banking service provided by NPCI (National Payment Cooperation of India). [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="I am getting the error “Invalid Command” or “Try again” while trying to access USSD services?"] Dear Customer, the above error messages are received in the following scenario. If your mobile operator does not support USSD service. You can get the list of the operators on NUUP by visiting. //www.npci.org.in/pro_pb.aspx In case your mobile operator supports USSD service, the error may be due to a network error in your area. You can try initiating the transaction after sometime. In case the issue persists, please check with your mobile operator. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What is the limit of fund transfer per day through USSD?"] Dear Customer, The maximum limit of fund transfer per customer on NUUP is Rs.5000 per day. How many transactions are allowed per session? Dear Customer, only one transaction is allowed per session. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What are the charges for using various services under SMS, Missed call and USSD Banking?"] Dear customer, ESAF SFB does not levy additional charges for services availed using SMS, Missed Call and USSD banking. However, your telecom service provider might charge for SMSs as applicable as well as up to Rs 1.5 per USSD session. There might be charges for fund transfer using IMPS services using USSD banking.
