They help the customers of banks by providing the facility of accessing their accounts for various financial and non-financial transactions such as cash withdrawal, fund transfer, debit card pin change, Aadhar seeding etc. without the need of actually visiting a bank branch. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What type of cards can be used at an ATM?"] ATM cum debit cards, credit cards and prepaid cards (that permit cash withdrawal) can be used at ATMs for various transactions. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What is green pin and what is the use of it?"] Green pin is an OTP sent to your registered mobile number mapped to the account. The green pin can be utilized for generation/updation of debit card PIN. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What is “Fast cash” facility?"] Fast cash withdrawal is a service whereby the ATMs dispense a predefined cash amount. If you choose to withdraw a different amount, you need to choose the “Cash withdrawal” option. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="Is the fund transfer option in ATM only for beneficiaries already registered using internet banking or mobile banking?"] You can transfer the funds to any beneficiary within ESAF SFB, irrespective of whether the beneficiary is already added to your account or not. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What if I enter wrong account number in the fund transfer?"] Please ensure that you are entering the correct account number and amount while choosing the fund transfer services. ESAF SFB shall not be responsible for financial loss due to wrong inputting of account number and amount. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="When does the crediting happen to the beneficiary account for fund transfer through ATM?"] The fund transfer happens instantaneously to the beneficiary account. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="How can one transact at an ATM?"] For transacting at an ATM, please insert/swipe your card in the ATM machine and enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) for authentication. You can then choose the relevant menu items for transaction. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="Can the ATM cum Debit cards be used at any bank ATM in the country?"] Yes, the cards issued by ESAF SFB can be used in any ATM deployed by different banks. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What is a Personal Identification Number (PIN)?"] The debit card PIN is the numeric password for authenticating the card and account. The PIN is used to authenticate all ATM transactions and is the biggest deterrent against fraudulent transactions. From security perspective, we urge our esteemed customers not to disclose the PIN to anybody. Please remember the PIN and do not write the PIN at any place including the debit card. Please also change the PIN at regular intervals. The above practices are essential to avoid misuse of the card when the card is misplaced, lost or stolen. You can put a request for re-issuance of the card. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What should be done if the card is lost / stolen?"] Please contact the nearest branch or customer care to place a request for hotlisting of the lost or stolen card immediately. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="Is there any minimum and maximum cash withdrawal limit per day?"] Yes, there are limits defined for maximum cash withdrawal depending on the product you have subscribed with ESAF SFB. The withdrawal limit is also a function of whether you are using ESAF SFB ATM or other ATMs. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="Do Banks levy any service charge for use of other Bank ATMs?"] There are charges levied as interchange fees if the number of transactions exceed a certain number in a month. The charges are also governed by the nature of product/s you have subscribed to with ESAF SFB and RBI regulation. With effect from November 01, 2014, a bank must offer to its savings bank account holders a minimum number of free transactions at ATMs as under: Transactions at a bank’s own ATMs at any location: Banks must offer their savings bank account holders a minimum of five free transactions (including both financial and non-financial) in a month, irrespective of the location of ATMs. Transactions at any other bank's ATM at Metro locations: In case of ATMs located in six metro locations, viz. Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, banks must offer their savings bank account holders a minimum of three free transactions (including both financial and non-financial transactions) in a month. Transactions at any other bank's ATM at Non-Metro locations: At other locations, banks must offer the savings bank account holders a minimum of five free transactions (including both financial and non-financial transactions) in a month at other bank ATMs. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="What can I do if I have not received cash but my account is debited?"] If you are an ESAF SFB account holder, please contact the nearest branch or customer care if you face any such issues irrespective of whether the ATM is of ESAF SFB or some other bank. [/esaf-accordion-item] [esaf-accordion-item title="How many days maximum would the bank require to re-credit the account for such wrong debits?"] As per the RBI instructions, banks may re-credit such wrongly debited amounts within a maximum period of -12- working days.
